| Duties and Responsibilities | Emergency Medicine Physician - Loyola University Medical Center Loyola University Medical Center, Department of Emergency Medicine, is currently recruiting a board certified or board eligible Emergency Medicine physician. The ideal candidate will have a desire to teach both medical students and within the residency and be comfortable with the use of bedside ultrasound. Loyola is an active EMS Resource Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center, regional burn center, and cardiovascular facility with an active aero-medical transport program. The position will include a faculty appointment to Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes occurrence-based malpractice coverage. Applicants should be licensed to practice in the State of Illinois at the time of hire. About Loyola Medicine Loyola Medicine, a member of Trinity Health, is a nationally ranked academic, quaternary care system based in Chicago's western suburbs. Weinberg Emergency Department, the Loyola Center for Metabolic Surgery and Bariatric Careand the Loyola Cancer Care & Research Facility at the Marjorie G. Weinberg Cancer Center. MacNeal is a 374-licensed-bed teaching hospital in Berwyn with advanced medical, surgical and psychiatric services, acute rehabilitation, an inpatient skilled nursing facility and a 68-bed behavioral health program and community clinics.
