- Respond to inquiries from prospective students through a variety of communication channels (e.g. phone, email, social media).
- Proactively engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategies for outbound student engagement and recruitment.
- Advise prospective students and applicants on policies and processes involved with admissions, enrollment, and registration. Provide initial context, preliminary information and resources around transferring credits. Assist in comparing program options such as online learning, majors, minors, and course scheduling.
- Utilize Ecampus' customer relationship management system (Salesforce) to track engagement with prospective students, and to create referrals to Ecampus' unofficial transcript evaluation service.
- Access and interpret undergraduate admissions customer relationship management system (Slate) to inform communications and conversations with applicants.
- Proactively reach out to applicants with incomplete application files to ensure that they have the information and support needed to move forward.
- Represent Ecampus at recruitment events, both on and off campus and virtually, and in presentations to campus partners.
- Work closely with Ecampus' corporate education unit to onboard new corporate collaborators and serve as a resource for prospective corporate-affiliated students.
- Collaborates with Associate Director of Outreach and Recruitment to analyze communication channel data and set strategy and goals around prospective student satisfaction.
- Meets and communicates with the Associate Director of Outreach and Recruitment to assess current projects and priorities related to outbound recruitment yield strategies.
- Communicate with campus partners on behalf of prospective students to find answers to questions and help navigate campus resources.
- Actively engage in group discussions, sharing insights and ideas to enhance the prospective student experience.
- Advocate to remove barriers for online learners by suggesting improvements to existing processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with Ecampus marketing and web/IT colleagues to create and update Ecampus website and other marketing and recruitment materials.
- Communicate regularly with the Admissions and Ecampus Student Success Team to ensure student-facing teams have the most up-to-date and accurate information in order to effectively serve students.
- Review and provide feedback on proposals for new online programs in order to ensure a smooth prospective student experience.
- Maintain Enrollment Services team resources for training and reference materials.
- Develop and participate in projects that contribute to improving the prospective student experience.
- Utilize Ecampus marketing and enrollment services project manager software (Basecamp) to create or track project deliverables.
- Plan and assign work for between 2 and 5 remote student workers.
- Engage in professional development activities to maintain knowledge of best practices in higher education enrollment, customer service and marketing.
Two years of technical or professional-level experience advising and/or instructing the public concerning specific programs or processes, monitoring programs, or performing participant reviews.
