Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all patients receive the highest level of care and attention throughout their treatment journey.
Duties:
- Coordinate patient appointments and manage the scheduling system
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment
- Collect patient information, update medical records, and verify previous medical history.
- Assist with patient registration and discharge processes
- Provide administrative support to healthcare professionals, including managing phone calls, emails, and correspondence
- Assist with medical billing tasks as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless Patient Care coordination
Experience:
- Previous experience in a healthcare or medical office setting is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with healthcare professionals

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
