Nature of Work:
This position helps facilitate the day-to-day operations of the Booking department as it pertains to marketing events. The role will focus on grassroots outreach, publicity, advertising, promotional campaigns, ticket sales and more for concert and family events.
Examples of work performed:
- Create copy for KSE promoted concert & family events, social media efforts and more
- Research event demographics and advise the booking department on viability of potential events, as well as recommendations on how to market to specific groups
- Assist with publicity initiatives for clients and KSE promoted events
- Research and implement grassroots marketing efforts
- Analyze ticket sales and demographic information, make marketing recommendations based on trends and patterns
- Conduct research and create presentations for marketing initiatives
- Monitor and maintain data quality within the marketing database
- Direct various consumer sweepstakes/promotions
- Build and optimize landing pages to support marketing campaigns
- Process invoices on behalf of the department
- Shadow Executive Director and Managers during events in a marketing and publicity capacity
- Assist with setup and takedown of fan-facing and backstage activations
- Procure creative ideas to engage with patrons on event nights, and brainstorm creative campaigns for artists or other clients that perform at KSE venues
- Work alongside internal departments on relevant cross-promotional and client campaigns; attend weekly operations and event meetings
- Execute specific projects, marketing buys, and promotions as assigned
- Work alongside the Venue Marketing Manager and the rest of the booking department on marketing efforts both for KSE venues and upcoming events

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:

- Lift 50 lbs. daily
- Work in extreme weather conditions
- During events, ability to stand or be present for long periods of time and to navigate large crowds.
Qualifications:
- Minimum
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing, or related field
- Minimum 1+ years professional experience in marketing for a business, or strong internship experience
- Customer Service experience
- Ability to provide work samples
- Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards.
- Available to work nights and weekends.
- Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
- Preferred
- Proficiency with Adobe suite programs, specifically Photoshop
- Experience with photography equipment preferred
- Experience with Meta’s Ad Manager platform
- Publicity/PR experience preferred
- Experience with Google Analytics
- Experience with Tableau

Compensation
- Hourly range $19.23 - $21.63 per hour
