Role Description
The Marketing Content and Communications Coordinator will work closely with the marketing team and the CRM Lead to support sales and marketing objectives for a company specializing in luxury kitchen appliances.
The Coordinator will be responsible for graphic design of print and digital assets including; email marketing campaigns, advertising, and a variety of other sales and marketing support collateral. Additionally, the coordinator will handle copywriting, media relations, and media buying.
Specific Job Responsibilities
Marketing
- Assist in strategic marketing plans, promotional calendars, and collateral
- Execute marketing strategies across platforms including email marketing, event calendar management to drive consumer sales process and partnership marketing
- Assist executive and showroom management teams with various projects and marketing campaigns
Graphic Design & Copywriting
- Maintain a cohesive and consistent brand identity and voice for a suite of companies
- Write and design multimedia marketing and advertising collateral including print, digital, large format signage etc.
- Produce and manage digital assets including online advertising, library of product images, and portfolio of email marketing campaigns
- Manage, update, and edit archive of marketing images and brand identity materials and deploy as relevant and advise on proper use
- Manage vendor procurement, design, and production of promotional materials
- Send internal emails including corporate newsletters
Media Relations
- Research and negotiate local and national media buys on behalf of five regional showrooms
- Help write and distribute press releases
- Maintain press contact list
- Maintain an advertising calendar and submit advertising materials according to deadline
Content
- Develop content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets
- Create, edit and publish engaging content
- Optimize content according to SEO
- Use content management systems to analyze website traffic and users’ engagement metrics
- Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic
- Ensure compliance with law (e.g. copyright and data protection)
- Stay up to date with developments and generate new ideas to draw audience’s attention
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, Marketing, Public Relations or related field
- 1-5 years of relevant integrated marketing (e.g., digital, social media, campaign, event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related work experience)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products and Google Doc Applications
- Familiarity with Email Marketing Platforms and Content Management Systems
- Strong eye for layout, composition, and typography
- Strong desire to learn new campaigning systems/platforms
Desired Qualifications
- Basic HTML Knowledge
- Experience with MailChimp or Marketing Automation Platforms
- Knowledge of Infor, SalesLogix or other CRM Platforms
- Knowledge of local media resources
- Knowledge of interior design, kitchen and bath design, architecture, and building community
