Administrative Assistant for the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio's Alternative Education Program Ventures II. The program supports up to 35 youth in grades middle- high school from school districts in and surrounding Franklin County. Administrative assistant will assist with calls and questions from school districts, parents/caregivers, and vendors. This role requires data collection, reporting requirements, student intake and withdrawal processes, data entry, and working with the ESCCO's business services department and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Post-secondary secretarial or office management training is desirable.
- Documentation of a clear criminal record
- Complies with drug-free workplace rules and board policies
- Proficient in oral and written communications skills
- Ability to compute mathematical data accurately
- Strong diplomacy skills, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task
- Proficient in office protocol and the use of information technology systems
- Proficient in data entry, spelling, proofreading, and the correct use of grammar
- Proficient in the use of office and management information software
- Congenial telephone etiquette and experience operating a multi-line system
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
- Collect, verify and maintain student and staff data for program databases
- Manage Solomon data for the invoicing of services provided to districts
- Gather and process all referral and applicant paperwork
- Assist in drafting and disseminating communications
- Provide data and reports to Director and Coordinators as requested
- Identify, implement and/or follow procedures to improve productivity and to maintain program data and procedures
- Maintain a functional filing system that ensures the safe, confidential retention and efficient retrieval of program records
- Perform other duties as assigned
Salary:
Commensurate with experience and in accordance with specified salary schedule
Reports To:
Director of the Center for Student Services or designee
