Our client, a multinational technology company, is seeking to add a User Researcher to their team that is responsible for designer user experience research. The organization has created a new app that uses generative AI technology to produce creative artifacts and this team is responsible for measuring the quality of the AI-generated outputs and providing feedback to the product team. The UX Researcher will also help with some related concept tests and analysis.
Top Skills Required:
- 2+ years' experience with User testing and Qualtrics
- 2+ years' experience with detail Project Management experience.
- 2+ years' experience with attention to detail.
Opportunity Overview
The User Researcher will have the opportunity to work in a very creative and consumer-driven space with fun and diverse artifacts. The ideal candidate will execute impactful research to quantify UX progress and uncover deep customer insights needed to influence product decisions. They will also derive insights from quantitative and qualitative data, synthesizing in partnership with other researchers and cross-functional team members.
The team plays an integral factor in contributing to a huge area for the organization while partnering with the product team to continuously make improvements and the products better and easier to use for people around the world.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- The User Researcher will help with collecting and creating artifacts to test using generative AI technology.
- Load the artifacts into Qualtrics and set up the test questions.
- Recruit participants through User Testing and review the videos and survey results.
- Analyze the data using Excel and report the findings to the product team using PowerPoint.
- Listen to the videos and add insightful quotes to support the data.
- Planning and executing remote usability studies (unmoderated and moderated), and quantitative UX research, primarily focused on quality assessment.
- Analyzing and synthesizing data into scorecards, compiling relevant customer video clips or quotes, and creating PowerPoint presentations to report findings.
Qualifications:
- 2+ overall years of experience in the field.
- At least 2 years of UX researcher experience, or 1 year in UX research with 2+ years in related product making roles (design, data science, or project management).
- Any experience working with AI and models would be a bonus.
- Strong project management, organization, and planning skills with an attention to detail.
- Skilled at coordination and collaboration, naturally curious and an eager problem solver.
- Tech Industry experience while effectively partnering with teams to improve the user experience based on research results or customer feedback.
- Experience analyzing quantitative data and tracking metrics.
- Experience with qualitative research methods and insight synthesis.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with online research tools, video editing and/or benchmark research methods.
- Experience with UserTesting and Qualtrics is strongly desirable.
- Experience and demonstrated skill with qualitative usability methods, including observing, understanding, and synthesizing human behavior into insights, and driving the voice of the customer in product development.

$9,000 - $9,500/monthly W2 Contract
