Children's Council of San Francisco is seeking individuals who are passionate about working with children and families, and who want to grow in the Early Childhood Education (ECE) field.

Through our Black ECE Career Development Pipeline program, you will:

• Increase the number of Black early educators in San Francisco
• Improve educational and developmental outcomes for Black children
• Actively contribute to an improved ECE system that affirms and uplifts San Francisco's Black families, educators, and young children

• Minimum $2000 stipend per semester provided by Children's Council

Black ECE Pipeline students will:

• Attend all child development class meetings virtually*
• Work 1-on-1 with a mentor
• Complete on-site fieldwork in a licensed childcare facility
• Qualify for a teaching permit through the California Department of Teaching and Credentialing**
• Work cooperatively as a cohort

• Orientation to ECE Principles and Practice
• Introduction to Early Childhood Curriculum
• Child, Family, and Community
• Child Growth and Development
