Job Title: Quantitative Usability Researcher

Pay Rate: $67.45 to $69.80
Position Summary
This position is responsible for performing usability (UX) research across the client’s portfolio of products/services.
Responsibilities
- Work with other researchers, designers, product managers and engineers to scope research strategy for assigned particular area throughout the entire product life cycle
- Utilize research skills and study practices, methods and toolkits to define and scope research questions, problems and requests
- Scope and draft a research/test plan and execute the plan
- Utilize various tools such as surveys, in-depth interviews with end users, etc.
- Conduct data analysis and report learnings to yield actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders including management
- Continuously advocate and evangelize for the end user and use research results to influence product development strategies
- Use Agile/Scrum based project management skills to meet deliverable timelines including direct end user engagement
- Occasionally work 40+ hours in a week to meet certain team milestones
- Perform other duties as needed
Education and Credential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Psychology, Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Experimental Psychology, Anthropology, Information Science or a related field
- Eligible to work in the US without RLA sponsorship for employment visa status
Experience Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a usability/UX researcher role
- 3+ years of experience with driving, organizing, and delivering quantitative UX research
- 3+ years proficiency in Query Language (SQL, KQL, or Python)
- Experience with a broad range of research methodologies such as interviews, evaluative usability studies, surveys, scorecards, A/B testing, and competitive analysis
- Experience with user research tools such as UserTesting, dscout, and Qualtrics
- Experience using visual design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc. or Figma, or other equivalent visual design and wire framing tools
- Experience using Agile/Scrum program/project management methodologies on large scale projects to consistently meet deadlines, successfully triage changing priorities, identify risks, and track issues to resolution
- Experience doing research in the video game, e-commerce and/or cloud space, including online shopping and payment methods preferred
Skills Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
- High proficiency using productivity software such as M365 (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams and SharePoint)
- Ability to use project/program management principles and methodologies to consistently meet task deadlines, triage changing priorities, and track issues to resolution
- Ability to collaborate across diverse teams with a customer service mindset
