Unity Developer

Our main product, Eventfinity, powers hybrid virtual events (e.g. agendas, video content, attendee directories, networking, chat rooms), as well as badge printing and mobile apps for in-person events. Responsibilities will include working with a team of experienced developers, project managers, clients, and the design team to bring events to life within our custom built CMS. Candidates should have an eye for design and be well versed in Unity engine(C#).

We are looking for a freelance Unity Developerto join our team. This freelance position will be project based.

Job Responsibilities:

• Adept at interpreting and translating UI/UX design wireframes / mockups into functional applications
• Anticipates client / PM requests or potential challenges and planning accordingly
• Implements solutions that are mobile first with scalability in mind
• Maintain custom builds and implement any necessary additions or enhancements
• Identify and troubleshoot various build issues / coding problems
• Collaborate with members of the product team, including designers and back-end developers, to consistently improve functionality and user-friendliness of applications
• Relied on for projects with tight timelines / short deadlines
• Takes on more high profile / high risk projects
• Part of the on call rotation

Skills & Qualifications:

• Building interactions in Unity, familiar rendering pipeline, networking
• High level understanding of client side scripting languages (C#)
• Can work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with designers, developers, and other relevant staff members or clients

Compensation based on skills and experience

Compensation range: $20-$35 per hour
