We are a full-service business management firm that delivers comprehensive financial services to writers, directors, producers, actors, executives, and high net worth individuals primarily in the entertainment industry. We are currently looking to add a Tax Accountant to our Tax Division. The focus of this position will be entity and personal tax return preparation, analysis and problem solving.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and complete individual federal and state tax returns for high-net-worth clients
- Collaborate with the team to manage a high volume of tax returns
- Engage with diverse clientele, understanding and addressing individual financial needs
- Prepare quarterly tax calculations tailored for individual clients
- Respond to tax notices and generate related written documents as required
- Utilize various tax tools efficiently and accurately to complete tax-related tasks
- Exhibit an understanding of clients’ business objectives and perform tax research to assist in tax structuring and modeling
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field
- CPA, EA or active progress toward certification
- At least 3 years of experience preparing tax returns for high-net-worth individuals in a Business Management or CPA firm, with exposure to LLC’s, corporations, and pass-through entities
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills
- Solid research and writing skills, and the ability to articulate complex information
- Foundation of general ledger accounting
- Experience handling tax research projects and audits
- Previous experience with ProSystems, BNA Income Tax Planner, CCH and other tax software

- Salary- $90,000-$140,000 plus discretionary bonus (exact salary amount is dependent on experience)
