Transportation Operations Officer

As a Transportation Operations Officer, you will manage, plan, control and operate a complex Fleet Management Center (FMC).
Location of position:
FAS, Fleet Management Center, will be in one of these locations Zone 1:  Edison, NJ

This office is responsible for managing the full spectrum of fleet vehicles administered by GSA.

We are currently filling one vacancies, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

The GS-13 salary range starts at $121,485.00 per year.  If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.  
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service.

Specialized experience is experience in fleet operations in at least one of the following; vehicle acquisitions, maintenance controls, accident management, and vehicle re-marketing. This experience should include experience with:

• implementing, coordinating, administering, and/or evaluating national programs and/or fleet pilot programs;
• automated vehicle management computer systems;
• providing technical direction, guidance and coordination of fleet management programs, polices, and initiatives which include industry practices/trends and marketing advertising/strategies.
