SalaryRapidly growing dietary supplement manufacturer in Cranbury, NJ is looking for self-motivated production operators .
The ideal candidate will have prior manufacturing experience in pharmaceutical, food, cosmetic or dietary supplement industries. These are full-time positions. Standard day shift with OT opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Set up of encapsulation or tableting machines
- Verify correct blend
- Feed material
- Bring samples to QC for approval
- Record times
- Report all deviations to the supervisor
- Responsible for keeping a log for every break, change in operator, and machine down time
- Responsible for product quality
- Responsible for routine maintenance and cleaning by following SOP instructions
- Take samples when appropriate during processes; then record on log
- Label containers with correct information as described on batch ticket
- Keep the working area clean and organized
- Follow all cGMP and safety procedures
- Follow work instructions provided by Supervisor
Skills:
- Must have basic math skills
- Must be able to understand, speak, read and write English language
- Must be able to lift 60 lbs and move up to 400 lbs with equipment assistance
- Must be able to bend, stretch, and stand for extended time intervals
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/or GED equivalent
- 1-2 years of manufacturing experience preferred
