Our team is looking for a Training and Development Manager. The Training and Development Manager will be responsible for assisting with designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive Training and Development for employees. This position will play a vital role in enhancing employee performance, promoting professional growth, and ensuring our workforce has the necessary skills and knowledge to meet the evolving needs of the logistics industry. The Training and Development Manager will report directly to the Director of Training and Development.

Responsibilities
· Provide sales leadership & be a resource for any operational issues that may arise amongst sales trainees.
· Participate in the development of overall sales training material and implementation.
· Create/ update onboarding & training schedules, along with a sales plan that aligns with organizational goals.
· Document and define what the path to success looks like. Identify potential roadblocks for Logistics Consultant Trainees and create an action plan and schedule to achieve desired results.
· Conduct individual and group coaching sessions to teach Sales Methodology.
· Review individual cold calls (recorded or live sessions) and provide feedback and coaching in addition to role playing with Logistics Consultant Trainees.
· One on One coaching sessions with Logistics Consultant Trainees to review sales pipelines, prospects, and customers to help identify new opportunities, new strategies to tackle roadblocks and obstacles.
· Improve upon current sales processes, schedule, and materials and work towards the creation of a definitive Sales Playbook.
· Develop sales strategies, marketing materials, and tactics for specific industries and Logistics Consultants to tackle.
· Encourage and inspire sales efforts by keeping teams motivated with short term goals and incentives.
· Refine and develop sales competitions and gamification models to lead to desired results and reward appropriately.
· Setup a performance plan for underperforming team members for accountability tracking.
· Ensuring the customer service level of the team maintains a high standard as they transition to the floor sales environment.
· Addressing and correcting team members for not following established team protocols.
· Perform yearly review of Logistics Consultant Trainee classes and key performance indicators, with a measurable review process to understand what areas of training need improved.

Required Experience
· Excellent written and verbal communication
· Must have a high level of customer service and interpersonal skills.
· Must have familiarity with Excel and/or Google sheets and google apps.
· Must have prior experience in the logistics industry.
· Must have prior management experience in the logistics industry.
· Transportation Management Software/ Salesforce experience a plus.
· Experience with prior Learning Management System a plus.

Compensation and Benefits?
· Base salary starting at $110,000 per year
