Position Description:
- Must hold and maintain a current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in California. Previous experience in clinical education preferred.
- Coordinate, develop and implement processes for providing clinical education for all facilities
- Work in collaboration with Nursing leadership to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of clinical services
- Ensure that Continuous Quality Improvement studies are being conducted, evaluated, and communicated appropriately.
- Ensure required Corrective Action Plans (CAP) are completed in a timely manner and results are communicated through the appropriate processes.
- Schedule and conduct Medical Audit Committee, Infection Control Committee, and CQI committee meetings in accordance with accreditation standards
- Conduct audits of patient Electronic Health Records to ensure that patient care is being rendered and documented in accordance with local, state and national standards.
- Assist with onboarding processes
- Assist with orientation and training of new clinical staff members in coordination with county nursing leadership
- Coordinate ongoing readiness for accreditation processes and participate in surveys
- Collaborate with HSA to conduct monthly staff meetings with NaphCare employees
- Work with HSA and county leadership to fulfill the contractual requirements related to training, education and accreditation compliance.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
