As an Account SalesTemporary Student Support on the Associated Wholesale Grocers (AWG) team, you will be performing a mixture of administrative duties and ongoing project support work. Working remotely with our team based all over the country, you will have the opportunity to directly partner with and support the Key Account Executive.
Having an "owner's mindset" paired with your initiative and curiosity will take you a long way as you will assist with contractual agreements, marketing selling material, and other promotional events with retail customers. While you’re at it, you will be encouraged to pursue opportunities to engage in a collaborative environment, sharpening your business acumen.
We are looking for undergraduate students currently enrolled in a college or university available to work part-time for 20 hours per week, with additional flexibility during summer months.
HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- The Daily Grind – As an integral part of our team, you will work with our Account Executives to create and communicate innovation and promotion plans to key retailers, meeting specific due dates to ensure on shelf placement and in store ad execution. Clear, detailed, and consistent communication is key.
- Special Projects – From constructing selling materials to compiling survey returns and processing/tracking invoices, you will be involved in a variety of special projects that will broaden and develop your skill set!
- Collaboration is Key – You’ll partner closely with our Account Executive team and AWG contacts to organize, manage, and execute contractual and promotional retailer needs with precision and timeliness.
- Customer Systems/Reporting – As part of your responsibilities, you’ll gain valuable experience in customer systems and reporting as you learn to navigate external customer portals for contractual inputs and internal documentation.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
REQUIRED:
- Currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at an accredited college or university working toward a degree in a business-related field is required
- Sophomore or Junior status
- Available to start working as soon as possible
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, PowerPoint, and email
Compensation Insights:
Undergraduate Pay Rate: $18/hr
