Job Description
As a Help Desk Analyst, your role is to provide first level IT support for MSU Student Life and Engagement employees via phone, chat, and service tickets. IT first level support consist of IT troubleshooting, software installations, remote desktop, and device monitoring. You will also be responsible to initiate IT issues communication, create/revise troubleshooting guides and documentation. This position requires the ability to think critically, preform the process of elimination, and solve problems in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications
• Must be a motivated self-starter able to complete tasks and problem solve in a timely manner with minimal supervision
• Good communication skills (written and verbal) with being positive and respectful
• Must be dependable and reliable
• Moderate level of technical aptitude required
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to problem solve and display good critical thinking skills
• Eager to provide good team support
• Strong collaboration skills and use of tools
• Be comfortable communicating over the phone while logging information effectively
• Video Conferencing
• Customer Service experience

• IT Basic Troubleshooting
• Active Directory
• Shared Mailbox experience
• Outlook troubleshooting

Work Hours
Business Hours are Monday - Friday 8am -5pm. Minimum of 10 hours per week during Fall & Spring Semester and will be available to work in the summer
