Job Description
The Department of Technology, Management and Budget(DTMB) supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services including Information Technology project delivery, maintenance and support. This position is with the Agency Services area of DTMB supporting the Office of Retirement Services.
We are looking for a person that understands the value of public service in a diverse environment and wants to help us meet the needs of our public-employee citizens. Above all, we are looking for someone that is passionate about IT application security. This person needs to be an excellent communicator through concise oral and written reports, presentations, and clear documentation. The applicant needs to have a team-oriented mindset and be capable of establishing and maintaining effective relationships with clients and team members.
This IT Student Assistant will assist in coordinating system security validation to ensure design, practices, and procedures meet the Michigan Security Accreditation Process and State of Michigan standards. This person will be assisting the Security Analyst completing the system security plan, disaster recovery plan, incident response plan, and assisting the business in writing the business continuity plan.
