Position Overview:
Aero Engineering & Manufacturing is seeking a Temporary File Clerk to support our Aerospace and Defense organization. This entry level position will assist with digitized filing and performing general clerical duties. Prior experience scanning in a paperless environment is preferred.
Responsibilities:
· Organizes and archives records and documents
· Uses alphabetical and numerical systems to organize paper and electronic records documents
· Checks paperwork, digital forms and files, updating or correcting documentation as needed
· Updates filing and organizational and storage systems for data and documents as needed.
· Creates new files and provides needed information on forms and reports.
· Secures and protects the privacy of documents.
· Scans paper documents and verifies that scanned documents are clear and legible.
· Discards documents when required in accordance with official procedures
· Checks and corrects documentation and placement of previously filed documents.
· Perform other tasks or projects as required
Qualifications:
· 0-2 years of clerical or Aerospace experience
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Integrity, discretion and respect for confidentiality and privacy
· Experience working with computers, software and scanning documents
· A dedication to preserving information and materials
· Adept typing, word-processing and data entry skills
· Ability to work effectively both independently as well as in a team based, collaborative environment
· Ability to work in a time efficient manner
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
