File Room Clerk

Hourly Rate: $17 per hour

Job Description:

Good Guard Security, Inc. is seeking two Temporary Filers to assist in organizing our File Room. The ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This temporary position will last for two weeks, with the possibility of extension depending on workload.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and maintain physical files in the File Room according to established filing systems.
• Sort and categorize documents accurately for easy retrieval.
• Ensure all files are labeled correctly and placed in the appropriate location.
• Assist in archiving and purging outdated or unnecessary documents.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information contained in the files.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the File Room.
• Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in filing, records management, or office administration preferred but not required.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift boxes and maneuver in a File Room environment.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Punctuality and reliability.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Ability to Relocate:

• Northridge, CA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
