Technical Training Producer
Reports To: Lead of Virtual Training Production

The Impact You Will Have:
You will be responsible for supporting facilitators as they deliver learning programs to our clients. This position will work alongside our Master Trainer, Client Success, and Digital Operations teams to deliver a seamless experience for participants.
Note: This is a part-time, as-needed role.
What You'll Do:
- Pre-Event
- Convert time zones for scheduling.
- Check event board and self-schedule future events.
- Collaborate with other producers on events.
- During Event
- Assist facilitators in running virtual events by:
- Syncing with the facilitator ahead of session and helping them prepare the classroom for the session.
- Opening the virtual classroom to attendees 15 minutes prior to session start time.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any participant audio, video, and technology issues once the session begins. Escalate where needed.
- Engage with learners both on camera and off camera.
- Take attendance using a roster template.
- Organize virtual rooms for breakout sessions
- Manage learner engagement tools such as chat, breakrooms, polls, and other non-verbal feedback.
- Maintain Crucial Learning and client intellectual property (IP) integrity and confidentiality
- Respond to technical client questions about virtual courses/platforms.
- Assist facilitators in running virtual events by:
- Post-Event
- Report issues with the platform.
- Provide feedback about the event.
- Collaborate with other producers on events.
- Other
- Read and reply to written communication in a timely fashion.
- Stay up to date on latest producer processes and resources provided by Crucial Learning.
- Other projects as assigned.
What You'll Need:
- Experience hosting an event / meeting on Zoom.
- Preferred understanding of, and experience with, other video conferencing platforms (WebEx, Microsoft Teams, Adobe Connect, etc.)
- Experience with webcam and microphone controls at both the hardware and software levels.
- Experience in a customer service role with effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skills and the flexibility to pivot when needed.
- The ability to speak Spanish a plus.
- Ability to balance autonomous work while collaborating with facilitators and team members.
- Self-regulated time management skills.
- Knowledge of computer, media, and networking technology.
- Ability to multi-task multiple channels of communication simultaneously.
- Professional attitude toward customer service and learner engagement.
- Preferred experience in working with teams using cloud-based file management, Office 365 and/or related online collaborating tools and systems.
- Ability to work within a 360-degree feedback environment.
- Ability to work a minimum of 35 hours a month during standard US business hours.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Workspace / Technical Qualifications:
- Hard wired internet connection with a minimum of 20mbps
- Access to a dedicated noise-limited workspace to ensure ideal voice interactions during live session trainings
- Workspace large enough to accommodate two monitors.
