About The Role – Who You’ll Work With ...

SourceAmerica is searching for a position titled Technical Support, Janitorial/Custodial, which is responsible for the technical and industry knowledge support of new and existing business for SourceAmerica, federal customers, and SourceAmerica’s network of NonProfit Agencies (NPAs). This position specifically supports the business needs on federal contracts that provide Custodial Maintenance Management services on a national basis. This position provides technical and sales support for the federal contracts that provide this line of service to our customers. This position will provide sustainable resources for SourceAmerica, assisting in growth of the lines of business; addition of new opportunities and projects; along with additional services to existing projects technical and certification support for Community Rehabilitation Programs and Non-Profit Agencies (CRPs/NPAs). All this in support of SourceAmerica’s mission as a Central Nonprofit Agency (CNA) under the U.S. AbilityOne Program.

What You Will Do ...

As a Technical Support, Janitorial/Custodial, your work functions will include but are not limited to the following. A full position description will be given to candidates at the time of the interview. 

  • Review and evaluate federal service contract requirements for Custodial Maintenance Services for their suitability for the program.
  • Perform on-site Custodial Maintenance Services evaluations and advise internal project manager/analysts, NPA contact managers and federal contracting officials on the most efficient workflow and processes.
  • Assist NPAs and internal teams with development of initial labor, supplies and equipment estimates.
  • Work independently to provide Technical Support on Custodial Maintenance Service projects to NPAs to include training, Readiness Team, Project Assistance, and operational reviews. Prepare pertinent LOB information and materials needed to conduct reviews.
  • Assure contracting activities and NPA contractors are aware of AbilityOne and DOL regulations.
  • Other responsibilities will be assigned as organizational needs arise.

Salary Range

The salary for this position falls in a range between $66,022 - $98,496 depending on your experience and geographic location in the United States.

What We're Looking For ...

  • Associate's degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited institution instead of applicable skills training. SourceAmerica recognizes 1.5 years of experience = 1 year of college, should the candidate not meet the educational requirement.
  • 5 years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Bonus Points for ...

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited institution.
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience evaluating contractor performance on custodial maintenance services projects.
  • Familiar with Federal Acquisition Regulations, DOL and AbilityOne regulations.
  • Experience specifically in-service delivery within federal or commercial service operations, consulting, pricing and proposal building processes.
  • We use Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) as our primary business application system for much of our office processes— experience with D365 or using similar methods is preferred.

Work Environment

Our organization offers both a hybrid work model—where employees work in our office two to three days per week and work from home the balance of the workweek—as well as a fully remote work model, depending on the job requirements and one’s proximity to one of our offices in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, or the Washington, DC-area.
