Prudent Technology is seeking a Technical Project Managerwith extensive large-scale IT projects, including commercial system integration, business process integration and resource management.
What You Will Do:
The Technical PM will be part of leading GSA PBS ORMA applications. The PM will report on project activity, status and operations and modernization of projects of multiple applications and technical governance activities. The PM will ensure all internal and external stakeholders are aware of critical path dependencies, integration points and provide oversight to testing plans. This position will work closely with the Transition Team, GSA program directors, other vendors, and other project related stakeholders.
The Technical PM will have software development background and experience managing team implementing technologies to support critical business processes including documenting key requirements, identifying similarities and differences between competing technologies offering same/similar solutions, perform impact analysis of decisions, identify key risks and mitigations that result from technical decisions, work with resources from different cultures, geographies to drive consensus and manage delivery of commitments.
Job Duties:
- Development, maintenance, and monitoring of integrated project timelines in coordination with project timelines.
- Ensuring that the project plan maintains tasks, schedules, and status updates as well as disseminating information to team members.
- Oversight and reporting of critical path dependencies between Modernization projects.
- Analyze, plan, and develop requirements and standards in reference to for scheduled projects
- Assign, provide oversight of technical personnel, report on progress, manage risks, issue resolution, management escalation and resolution, while ensuring all subordinates team members are actively working toward established milestones
- Hold regular status meetings to document progress, and address any risks, issues
- Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives
- Research and evaluate hardware and software technology options and weigh the cost/benefit analysis when making large purchases on behalf of the company
- Update and maintain all production technologies ensuring proper maintenance and installation
Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
- Bachelors'/Master's degree in Project Management or related technical field required
- Professional Project Management Certification from accredited intuition required
- 10+ years of Technical Project management experience implementing technologies using Agile methodology.
- Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and methods
- Excellent communication skills - oral and written
- Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others
- Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising department teams
- Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
- Managerial experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles

Location: This is a remote job with travel for Corporate or Client events once a quarter and more than 5 times a year to Northen VA.
Salary: $180K.
