Job description
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our team at HDAI. You will report to the Sr. Dir. AI and Engineering, working with the AI Operations, Data Engineering, and Cloud Engineering teams. As a group, these teams are responsible for the lifecycle of clinical data and model inference at HDAI, from when data is first ingested from a customer through when the model results are reported back to them.
This position comes at a critical time in HDAI’s development: We are transitioning from a legacy application to a Python-based, AWS-native, event driven architecture (familiarity with Lambdas, ECS, SQS, and S3, or similar technologies is not required but is a big plus). You will attend daily standups and coordinate timelines across teams. Success in this role includes working with the Sr. Dir. AI and Engineering to develop Gantt charts, project plans, and technical specifications that help communicate project requirements and establish achievable timelines across these cross-functional teams. You will also perform project management for the part of new healthcare system onboarding that the engineering group is responsible.
A successful candidate has a track record of effective Technical Project management, with a PMP or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, has strong familiarity with Confluence, JIRA, and JIRA automations, and exemplary oral and written communication skills. We are excited to have you as a part of this team!
