Role Description

We are now hiring highly motivated and ambitious candidates for our Tax Staff Accountant position. The Tax Staff Accountant will work with a team of experienced tax resolution specialists by preparing tax returns and assisting in the representation of taxpayers regarding their Federal or State tax problems, all while developing the additional skills needed to continue your career, and take advantage of opportunities to advance within the firm. This is an entry level position, with tax preparation and tax resolution experience ranging from 0 - 2 years. The ideal candidate is either currently licensed, actively pursuing, or willing to commit the time needed to become an Enrolled Agent (We provide the job training and tools necessary to become licensed). Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or other Non-Accounting Business Bachelor's degree. Prior tax experience is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

Either currently licensed as an CPA, Attorney or Enrolled Agent, or have the time and ability to pass the Enrolled Agents Exam (Lothamer to provide training and resources to help with the passing of the exam)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem solving and analytical abilities
Attention to detail and accuracy
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business or other related field
Experience in tax representation and problem resolution is a plus
