Form of workKey responsibilities of the role may include:
- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Maintaining accurate and up to-date records of financial transactions.
- Reconciling bank statements and ensuring the accuracy of financial data.
- Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Assisting with the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
- Supporting the accounting team with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.
The ideal candidate for this position should have:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is typically required for this role.
- Experience in UltraTax CS (Thomson Reuters).
- Familiarity with the tax code and experience in IRS forms 1040, 1120 & 1065's
- Payroll & Bookkeeping
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
