What you will do…
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for full life cycle staffing for both administrative and manufacturing positions. You will partner with hiring managers to understand the role and job descriptions, post openings to internal and external recruitment sites, screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, schedule, and coordinate in-person interviews, conduct candidate debriefs and generate job offers. As Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will lead orientation and help coordinate on-boarding experiences in partnership with the HR and cross-functional teams that make our new hires successful.

About the Work Environment…
This is an on-site position that is located at the Amsterdam, New York LEED® certified production facility. Most job functions are performed in a well-lit, environmentally controlled office environment. As a manufacturing location, this position may require one to be in an environment that requires hairnet, beard cover, safety glasses, hearing protection and lab coat. Restrictions include wearing of jewelry, nail polish and acrylic nails. Other personal protection equipment may be required for certain tasks.
What You’ll Do…
- Leading the development and execution of customized recruitment plan for each administrative opening and overall manufacturing plant hiring needs
- Flawless management of the entire candidate journey to ensure a positive experience, company mission, values and employer brand are communicated effectively, and offer package is personalized and attractive
- Developing working relationships with community partners, colleges / universities, and local employment agencies; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport and participating in job fairs
- Effectively managing outside recruiters for select administrative openings – including negotiation of contract and liaising between recruiter and hiring manager
- Ability to spot talent and match candidate qualifications with applicable job openings
- Creatively sourcing and scouting talent for hard to fill positions
- Organization and execution of on-site and remote job fairs for production and maintenance union positions
- Development and nurturing of a pipeline of talent for future staffing needs
- Ownership of social media recruitment efforts (Facebook, LinkedIn, & Glassdoor)
- Support new hire orientations and on-boarding plans
- Other responsibilities may be assigned to support the HR Team

What You’ll Need…
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, HR or a related field
- 4-6 years of full cycle recruitment experience
- PHR/SPHR Certification preferred

Pay:The annual base salary range for this in-person role is $60,000 - $75,000. This is a salaried, exempt position.
