61st Street Service Corporation is looking for a dedicatedTalent Acquisition Specialist their Access to Care Contact Center. The Ideal candidate would be responsible for identifying future hiring needs, designing job descriptions, sourcing candidates through databases and social media, conducting interviews, and keeping abreast of employment trends in the market.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recruiting for Access to Care (Call Centers) and other areas as assigned.
- Identifying future hiring needs and developing/ updating job descriptions if needed.
- Collaborating with management to compile a consistent list of requirements.
- Attracting suitable candidates through databases, online employment forums, social media, etc.
- Conducting interviews and sorting through applicants to fill open positions, ensuring proposed candidates for hire have needed competencies for the role.
- Develop local and system wide recruiting plans using traditional sourcing strategies and new, creative recruiting ideas.
- Assessing applicants' knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions.
- Coordinate and attend Job fairs as needed in New York & New Jersey.
- Completing pre boarding paperwork for new hires.
- Promoting the company's reputation and attractiveness as a good employment opportunity.
- Monitor newly onboarded thru the introductory period.
- Report to Exec. Director and Senior Director on progress, including generating recruitment status reports.
- Follow Access to Care timeline to ensure expected deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred and a minimum of 3 years direct Recruitment / HR experience.
- Human resource experience can substitute for degree.
- Must possess considerable knowledge of principles of the interviewing function.
- Must be able to recruit in New York & New Jersey.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
