How You'll Make an Impact:
The Talent Acquisition Sourcing Coordinator is responsible for developing innovative and strategic methods to source, evaluate, and ultimately hire external talent into Carter's. This position will directly impact the quality of candidates we hire by sourcing and pre-screening top-quality passive talent in the marketplace. The sourcing specialist is a socially savvy sourcer supporting our hiring goals and sharing our culture, core values, and passion for our brands with every candidate.
This role typically reports to a recruiter and is based in our Buckhead office in our hybrid work environment.
Role Breakdown:
- 70% Candidate sourcing
- Engage in aggressive, creative, and productive sourcing activities to generate robust and diverse candidate slates and pipelines, including Boolean search, research, name-gen, cold-calling, and mining databases.
- Track work consistently in required tools such as candidate relationship (CRM) system, LinkedIn projects or applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Capture market and competitive intelligence from sourcing efforts, and document in a manner that makes it easy to share with key partners (e.g., Compensation).
- Leverage market intelligence and industry trends, including target companies and organizations, to build candidate slates and pipelines.
- Cultivate relationships with key candidates and specific talent pools -turn applicants from non-active to active by developing strong candidate relationships.
- Review resumes and credentials for appropriate skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements - screen key prospects.
- Ensure company complies with laws and regulations as it relates to online sourcing, recruiting, and hiring practices.
- Updating and maintaining sourcing plans and lists of effective sources.
- Attend Job fairs and recruitment events.
- Build pipelines that assist with future hiring needs.
- Partner with hiring managers and leadership to identify, assess, and explain market findings.
- Maintain positive relationship with candidates and accurately communicate the company's culture and values.
- 30% Talent Acquisition Projects & Initiatives
- Facilitate new recruitment initiatives and complete special projects as assigned.

Must have:
- Must be a motivated and process oriented sourcer with strong client and candidate management skills.
- Must have a sense of urgency, strong work ethic, and assertive nature.
- Must be able to effectively handle multiple and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment while achieving defined goals
- Ability to understand, articulate and sell our culture and business initiatives.
- Ability to deliver a balance of quality and quantity in candidate pipeline.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong command of Microsoft office suite
- Previous experience with TA software and tools
- The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
- Recruiting expertise and knowledge of internet search tools and strong sourcing strategies.
- Experience creating and executing a wide range of recruiting initiatives.
Preferred skills and experience:
- A minimum of one year of Talent Acquisition experience preferred.
- Demonstrated success using various sourcing techniques to find candidates for hard to fill positions preferred
- Recruitment experience for a retailer preferred.
