- As the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, you will play a pivotal role in driving our company's growth by building a high-performing and diverse workforce.
- You will partner with senior leadership to identify, attract, and hire exceptional talent to support our mission of advancing healthcare through innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Strategy: Execute a comprehensive Talent Acquisition strategy aligned with the company's goals and growth plans.
- Sourcing: Proactively source, identify, and engage top talent within the medical device industry through various channels, including job boards, social media, industry events, and referrals.
- Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to onboarding, maintaining our reputation as an employer of choice.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives within the recruitment process to build a diverse and equitable workforce.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on best practices in recruitment.
- Employer Branding: Develop and maintain the company's employer brand, making Avanos an attractive destination for top talent in the medical device industry.
- Metrics and Reporting: Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the Talent Acquisition process and provide regular reports to senior leadership.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations in the recruitment process, including equal opportunity and anti-discrimination laws.
- Talent Pipelining: Build and maintain a talent pipeline to anticipate and fulfill future staffing needs.
Qualification Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Five to seven years of experience as a Talent Acquisition Leader or in a senior recruitment role within the medical device or healthcare industry.
- Deep knowledge of the medical device sector, its challenges, and talent market dynamics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic and innovative thinker, able to proactively problem solve and develop solutions.
- Proficiency in using recruitment software and tools.
- Knowledge of diversity and inclusion practices in recruitment.
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to recruitment.
- Experience in an FDA regulated environment with a preference toward the medical device industry.
- Ability to lead in the face of ambiguity
- Ability to grasp complex issues quickly and drive change
- Ability to get work done in a matrix environment
- Persistence to achieve long-term objectives in the face of obstacles
Additional Job Details:
- 7 years recruiting technical roles.
- Does not have to be med device or pharma but needs to be able to quickly understand hard to fill roles and find technically skilled talent.
- Experience with LinkedIn recruiter, sourcing and applicant tracking systems- ideally success factors but others are okay.
- Ideally project work and subject matter expertise in an area like onboarding, candidate experience, recruitment marketing, compensation.
- They should at a basic level be great with candidates, hiring managers, stakeholders and communication.
