SafeBase is looking for a dynamic Talent Acquisition Lead to play a pivotal role in shaping our workforce, culture, and staffing model. We are looking for a leader to lay our strategic, systematic, and tactical foundation. This is currently scoped as an IC role, with the opportunity to grow your team over time. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing Talent Acquisition strategies, attracting top-tier talent, and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive Talent Acquisition strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates
  • Collaborate with leaders, People and Culture (P&C) partners, and hiring managers and to understand staffing requirements and establish hiring priorities
  • Keep abreast of recruitment trends and innovations to continuously improve our Talent Acquisition approach
  • Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, from job requisition to offer acceptance, ensuring a seamless and efficient process
  • Utilize various sourcing channels (job boards, social media, professional networks, etc.) to identify and engage with potential candidates
  • Conduct candidate screenings, interviews, and debriefs to ensure a high talent bar, strong internal interviewing standards, and bias-free calibrations to evaluate candidate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit
  • Provide a positive candidate experience by maintaining open lines of communication, promptly addressing inquiries, and delivering constructive feedback
  • Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, candidate quality, and diversity initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the recruitment process
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records and documentation in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Coordinate the onboarding process with P&C for new hires, including preparing offer letters, facilitating background checks, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in end-to-end recruitment, ideally within a startup environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage with candidates and stakeholders at all levels
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple recruitment projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, while also collaborating effectively in a team-oriented environment
