STATUS: EXEMPT
REPORTS TO: VP - DIGITILIZATION
DEPARTMENT: DIGITAL SERVICES
JOB CODE: 11532

PAY RANGE: $118,200.00 - $130,000.00 ANNUALLY

 

 

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Change Management Lead will play a pivotal role in guiding Golden 1 Credit Union through its digital transformation and is responsible for orchestrating and implementing organizational changes seamlessly. This role involves developing and executing comprehensive Change Management strategies, collaborating with key stakeholders, and ensuring effective communication and training programs. The Change Management Lead plays a crucial role in mitigating resistance, fostering a culture of adaptability, and measuring the success of change initiatives through key performance indicators. With a focus on both the human and operational aspects of change, this position aims to drive successful transformations, enhance employee engagement, and ensure the organization's ability to navigate and thrive in a dynamic environment.

 

TASKS, DUTIES, FUNCTIONS:

  1. Developing Change Management Strategies: Collaborate with leadership to understand business objectives and develop effective Change Management strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  2. Leading Change Initiatives: Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of change initiatives, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes and workflows.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and engage key stakeholders at all levels of the organization, building relationships and ensuring their involvement in the change process.
  4. Communication Planning: Develop comprehensive communication plans to convey the vision, goals, and impacts of change initiatives to stakeholders.
  5. Training and Development: Collaborate with the training department to create training programs to equip employees with the skills and knowledge required for successful adaptation to changes.
  6. Resistance Management: Proactively identify and address resistance to change, providing support and guidance to individuals and teams to overcome challenges.
  7. Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of change initiatives and make data-driven adjustments as needed.
  8. Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by collecting feedback, evaluating results, and applying lessons learned to future change initiatives.

 

PHYSICAL SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EXERTION UTILIZED IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THESE TASK:

  1. Effective oral and written communication skills required to evaluate staff, prepare, and present recommendations, perform analysis, and accomplish other managerial functions as required.
  2. Must possess sufficient manual dexterity to skillfully operate an on-line computer terminal and other standard office equipment, such as financial calculators, personal computer, facsimile machine, and telephone.

ORGANIZATIONAL CONTACTS & RELATIONSHIPS:

  1. INTERNAL:      Management Group, and all levels of staff.
  2. EXTERNAL:     Other financial organizations, governmental agencies, and community & trade organizations

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. EDUCATION:   Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Psychology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  2. EXPERIENCE:  Proven experience (8+ years) as a Change Management Lead or in a similar role. Relevant certifications in Change Management, such as Prosci, Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), or similar credentials
    1. Strong understanding of Change Management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
    2. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
    3. Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    1. Prolonged sitting throughout the workday with occasional mobility required.
    2. Corrected vision within the normal range.
    3. Hearing within normal range.  A device to enhance hearing will be provided if needed.
    4. Occasional movements throughout the department daily to interact with staff, accomplish tasks, etc.
    5. Required to be on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to ensure timely and appropriate resolution of any issue that may arise regarding resources under scope of responsibility.
    6. Travel locally, statewide and throughout the United States. Overnight travel and evening schedules included.
    7. Unusually long work hours may be required to accomplish tasks.

 

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Relevant certifications in Change Management, such as Prosci, Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), or similar credentials
