Duties include:
- Scheduling of outpatient and inpatient surgeries for providers
- Preparing Pre-Surgical Testing Papers for patients
- Preparation of Consent Forms for Provider/Patient Signature
- Insurance Prior Authorization for procedures
- Maintenance of Hospital Log for Daily Hospital Rounds
- Scanning all Hospital Consults into Electronic Record
- Enter new patients from Hospital into the Practice Management System
- Maintenance of Surgical Log for Surgeries performed by providers
- Scanning all Operative Notes into Electronic Record
- Run monthly surgical billing reconciliation to ensure capture of all procedures
- Email Correspondence with Corporate Billing Office
- Daily submission of all logs to the Corporate Billing Office
- Obtain radiology reports/precertification/films/discs pertaining to surgical procedures
