ROLE
We need a Support Task Lead for the Air Force Accounting Operations Center (AFAOC). The AFAOC plays a vital role in ensuring accurate financial management for the Air Force. The DEAMS program, under the PRISM MATOC, implements and maintains the Department of the Air Force's financial accounting and entitlement system. The DEAMS Functional Management Office (FMO) will provide product owner and testing support for agile software development, user training, business process reengineering, and ensure an unmodified System and Organizational Controls audit. The AFAOC will enhance communication, knowledge management tools, and provide consistent support to all DEAMS bases, while meeting audit requirements and improving internal controls. Your role as a Task Lead for the AFAOC will be to oversee various support functions critical to the smooth operation of the center. This is a full-time opportunity. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as primary liaison to AFAOC Director for all AFAOC tasks
- Provide DEAMS technical and functional data for research and analysis to support DEAMS FMO/AFAOC
- Represent functional user in agile development team meetings, ensuring accurate interpretation of requirements
- Review developer technical proposals for correctness, consistency, completeness, and compliance
- Assist integrated testing team to ensure AFAOC functional requirements are met
- Evaluate proposed DEAMS system change requests for compliance with laws, regulations, and policies
- Document concurrence or non-concurrence in government trouble ticket system
- Assist integrated testing team to ensure AFAOC functional requirements are met
- Validate processes to ensure proper functioning, process Inbound and Outbound file
- Resolve disconnects and document resolutions
- Conduct test and evaluation of test scripts in non-production environments
- This individual must be available on at least an on-call basis for the duration of the contract
- 10 years leading Air Force financial management teams
- Advanced degree or professional certification may substitute
- Expertise in Air Force policies, processes, and procedures
- Capable of working independently
- Strong written and oral communication skills in the English language
- Capable of directing contractor personnel and interfacing with the Government and customers
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong time-management and prioritization skills
- Ability to communicate applicable technical subject matter expertise to management and others
- Working knowledge of DoD Financial Management systems, processes, and procedures

- Technical knowledge of Federal applications of Oracle eBusiness software
- Functional Experience with Oracle Federal Financial audit capabilities
- Working knowledge of DoD legacy financial management systems and processes
- Functional Expertise in operational Standard Financial Information Structure (SFIS)
- Functional Experience as Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Functional Experience as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
- Working knowledge of Federal and Defense financial audit processes
- Functional and Technical Experience as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) Certification
- Government Financial Manager (CGFM) Certification
- Certifications in SAFe Agile Framework
- Other Agile software certifications including scrum master or product owner
- Bachelor's degree

Other Considerations: applicants will be subject to a background investigation. Individual's primary workstation is in an office area. The noise level in this environment is low to moderate.
