As a Multi-Site Master Planner, you will be the key link between our two manufacturing sites and our demand planner. You will balance supply and demand across our Renewal by Andersen division, which produces high-quality windows and doors. You will make strategic decisions on where and how to produce our products, ensuring cost efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will also collaborate with senior leaders, including plant managers, to implement and monitor plans that align with our business goals.
In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Supply Chain at Renewal by Andersen and will be located in Cottage Grove, Minnesota. One of the sites you will be supporting is our new Manufacturing facility in Locust Grove, GA which we broke ground on in November 2023 (click here to read more about our new Locust Grove facility!).
What you will do
As a Multi-Site Master Planner, you will have the opportunity to:
- Make a positive impact on our customers by leading the best manufacturing location decisions for their orders
- Own and maintain cutting-edge models and rules that optimize our order planning and cost performance
- Share your insights and recommendations on how to reduce our total cost to serve and increase our profitability
- Lead the development and execution of innovative tools and processes that enhance our Supply Chain efficiency and agility across multiple manufacturing sites
- This can include but is not limited to sales and operations planning (S&OP), raw material inventory strategy, finished good inventory strategy, supply forecasting, and demand forecasting.
- Drive continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives throughout the entire Supply Chain, collaborating with internal and external partners, customers and suppliers from various functions and domains
- These improvements are large enough in scope and scale that project work requires collaboration with external suppliers or leaders in other departments such as IT, sourcing, operations, order intake or logistics.
- Support senior leaders in planning and budgeting the production volumes across multiple manufacturing sites, aligning with our business objectives and customer demand
- Mentor and coach Supply Chain managers and analysts across multiple manufacturing sites, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration
- Advise senior leadership on the best Supply Chain strategies, practices, and guidelines for the enterprise, leveraging your subject matter expertise and experience
- Be the go-to person for information and material flow from order entry to customer delivery, ensuring smooth and timely operations
Minimum Qualifications:
- 4 year degree in Supply Chain, business, engineering or related degree and 8-10 years experience preferred.
- Expert knowledge and skills in applying relevant methodologies (ERP, lean, architecture, supplier development) to improve efficiency and quality.
- Excellent facilitation skills. Able to lead discussions and decisions with senior business leaders such as plant managers and business managers.
- Advanced skills in data mapping and validation. Able to collect, analyze, and summarize data and use it to make informed decisions for multiple manufacturing sites.
- Familiarity with lean tools and how they can be used to optimize the product flow from order to delivery across the organization.
- Experience in implementing change management strategies and processes to support organizational transformation.
- A technical leader who can motivate others, act with integrity, drive change, create and execute plans, inspire people to achieve goals, develop talent and deliver results.
