Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Communicate part quality requirements to Purchasing through the CRQ process by assigning the appropriate document packages and family inspection plans to PPAP parts ordered.
- Work with Suppliers to correct submitted Supplier PPAP documentation that is rejected by Quality Analysts.
- Collect data on supplier performance to prepare and present reports, including PPAP FPY and supplier performance metrics.
- Identify internal process improvement opportunities and drive change to improve PPAP FPY.
- Review, update, and implement work instructions to support process improvements.
- Review, update, and implement document packages and family inspection plans to support new customers, new parts, and process improvements.
- Support risk evaluation through the SRM system’s metrics and review the Supplier risk analysis during monthly MRB meetings.
- Contribute to supplier quality development for new and current suppliers; support Bossard in the selection, auditing, and development of selected suppliers.
- Interact with Sales, Purchasing, and Quality to drive supplier performance improvements.
- Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience
Associate’s Degree, or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write reports & business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, employees of the organization, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate and percent. Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram from. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
