The Manager is responsible for all day-to-day operations of the studio including:
- Managing up to 12 Team Members
- Hiring and training
- Reaching sales goals and staying within payroll budgets
- Maintaining a positive and FUN work environment
- Scheduling
- Ordering, receiving and unpacking pottery
- Cash deposits
- Maintaining studio supplies
- Pottery display areas
The Mad Potter is seeking a Manager who:
- has a positive attitude and is fun!
- is a people person and loves working with children
- highly values exceptional customer service
- is creative and artistic, but NO ARTISTIC EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
- is flexible regarding work scheduling and willing to work at least one weekend day - (Saturdays) and some nights and holidays
- is extremely organized and detail-oriented
- experience with a point-of-sale system is a plus
- management experience is a plus but is not required
Compensation and Benefits
- $36,000 annual salary
- PLUS tips, estimated $10,000 annually
- Monthly Sales bonus opportunities (up to $3,600 per year)
- Paid time off (10 days per year)
- $2,400 annual Health Insurance Stipend
- Retirement plan with employer match up to 3%
