Heritage Senior Living is expanding our team! We are seeking an experiences Staffing Specialist will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, and coordinating onboarding of our internal staffing pool along with scheduling pool staff for all Heritage communities in the greater Milwaukee Area.

A successful Staffing Specialist has the following:

- Experience using a scheduling software system
- Experience staffing and scheduling, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Experience recruiting, interviewing, and hiring/onboarding new employees
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience in a RCAC and/or CBRF setting is preferred
- Experience working as a caregiver / CNA is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Assist in ensuring community meets all regulatory compliance requirements, fulfills staffing needs to provide residents with high-quality care, and is a leader in customer service
- Recruitment and screening of new hire candidates to work in Heritage's internal staffing pool
- Participate in the hiring, onboarding, training and development, evaluation and supervision of all employees; manage employee performance appraisal process
- Manage scheduling for internal staffing pool employees
- Completes performance reviews for internal staffing pool employees
- Fosters supportive and strong relationships with internal staffing pool employees
Requirements:
- Ability to speak, read and write English
- Strong computer skills and Outlook and Microsoft software
- Must submit and pass all applicable pre-employment and annual tests and meet all training and other applicable state and federal guidelines
- Willing to have a presence on weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
