Job Description:

• This position (3) acts as the engineer for the most complex configuration, deployment, support, administration, monitoring and analysis of endpoint systems and infrastructure supporting the enterprise, including Altiris, MobileIron, application packaging and automation (Flexera), hardware-independent operating system imaging, virtual client environment administration/architecture (VMware, Citrix, Microsoft HyperV), and Microsoft Group Policy management and administration.
• The endpoint engineer will provide technical direction and mentor endpoint administrators.
• Collaborates with cross functional teams to engineer and deliver complex enterprise solutions with a focus on security, extensibility, performance, maintainability, and in accordance with standards and operational best practices.
• This position is responsible for the research, development, documentation and training of new technology for the endpoint environment.
• This includes ensuring image, patch and driver management protocols are implemented and followed.
• Assists with the daily management and upkeep of systems required to support endpoint systems.
