Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced professional Integration/Test Engineer with Digital Engineering and Model Based Testing experience. The successful candidate will excel in supporting the technical requirements of the Engineering Group and will be responsible for supporting model development executing model based testing. The Engineer will work with the Lead Integration/Test Engineer, systems design, and development team to create/update/execute test plans, identify and capture defects, troubleshoot and resolve testing issues, and ensure conformance of products to specifications. This position will require excellent critical thinking skills to debug, analyze and verify products meet functional and performance requirements.
Essential Functions:
- Lead Integration/Test Engineers and developers to create and maintain test artifacts, including test plans, test procedures, test vectors, and defect reports
- Execute tests and report on testing status, including metrics on defects and testing progress
- Perform tasks in support of the development of our models
- Develop and Implement model based tests
- Assist in developing and improving testing methodologies, tools
- Build and maintain solid working relationships with internal and external customers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or applicable Engineering Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience OR Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior engineering experience.
- Experience in formal testing of systems and model based engineering
- Top Secret or TS/SCI security clearance
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Working knowledge of Atlassian products such as JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket
- Ability to automate test procedures and data analysis activities
- Must be detail-oriented and organized
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
