DeNOVO Solutions, LLC is actively seeking a seasoned Operations and Maintenance (O&M) System Administrator. This role is pivotal for ensuring optimal performance and security of our systems. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in both operations and maintenance of complex IT systems, with a focus on providing advanced tier 2 and tier 3 technical support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and ensure the operational readiness and maintenance of computer networks, systems software, applications, and hardware configurations.
- Conduct regular system audits, maintenance, and upgrades to ensure optimal system performance.
- Execute disaster recovery operations and data backups as necessary.
- Implement and maintain network security measures to safeguard data and systems.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and effectively resolve tier 2 and tier 3 hardware, software, and network issues.
- Configure and maintain system monitoring tools, audit applications, and virus protection software.
- Provide expert-level support for system and network issues, including escalation and communication with agency management and internal customers.
- Stay actively involved in the resolution process for dispatched system and hardware problems.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in O&M roles supporting DOD/IC programs.
- Must possess a Security+ certification or higher.
- Strong proficiency in platforms such as Jira, Confluence, GitLab, and Bitbucket.
- Demonstrated experience in tier 2 and tier 3 support and problem resolution.
- In-depth knowledge of Ubuntu OS and Docker containerization.
- Proficiency in Bash scripting and Puppet administration.
- Experience with OpenLdap administration.

Salary Range: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 (Commensurate with experience)
Note: The above salary range is a guideline and represents a broad spectrum of potential compensation. We recognize that a candidate's unique experience and qualifications may justify compensation beyond this range. Therefore, we remain open to considering higher salary offers for exceptionally qualified candidates.
