Corporate IT System Administrator
Position Type: Full Time
Salary Range: In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $100,000.00 - $120,000.00. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado. This position is not remote.
Additional Compensation: This position is eligible for an end-of-year bonus.

Position Description:

We are seeking a dynamic Corporate IT System Administrator who embodies our drive for excellence, passion for technology, and commitment to seamless operations. As a Corporate IT System Administrator, you will be pivotal in maintaining, optimizing, and securing our IT infrastructure. Your day-to-day will involve a blend of technical prowess, strategic planning, and collaborative engagement with teams across the organization. You'll be the go-to expert for IT, ensuring our systems run smoothly and securely and empowering our team to achieve their best work.
What you will be doing:
  • Offer unmatched technical support and troubleshoot hardware and software issues to ensure a seamless workflow for all team members.
  • Fortify the security and dependability of our networks and systems, safeguarding the heart of our operations.
  • Oversee and enhance our servers, databases, and software applications, ensuring peak performance and user satisfaction.
  • Monitor system performance and propose and implement enhancements that drive efficiency and innovation.
  • Lead in procuring, installing, and configuring hardware and software, staying ahead of the curve.
  • Develop and institute IT policies and procedures that adhere to industry standards and elevate our practices.
  • Manage and catalog our IT assets precisely, ensuring resources are optimized and accounted for.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and upgrades, ensuring our technology stack remains robust and responsive.
  • Provide indispensable training and support, enhancing our team's technological fluency.

Basic Qualifications and Skills:
  • 8+ years of information technology and systems administration experience with an associate's degree OR 2 additional years of experience and a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Your knowledge of network protocols and best practices is second to none.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and other cloud based platforms.
  • Microsoft Windows, Office, and other business applications are tools you wield with expertise.
  • You're versed in server management, networking, firewalls, and security protocols, with a keen sense for automation and PowerShell.
  • Excellence in communication is your hallmark, essential for teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
  • You're adept at juggling multiple projects, prioritizing with an eye for impact.
  • Complex issues are puzzles you're eager to solve, thinking critically and creatively to find solutions.
  • Professional certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+) are a plus, as is experience with the CMMC framework.
  • A growth mindset propels you; you're proactive, inquisitive, and committed to your personal development.

Required Education: 8+ years of information technology and systems administration experience with an associate's degree OR 2 additional years of experience and a High School Diploma or GED.
Clearance Requirement: This position requires the ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance. To be eligible for a clearance, US Citizenship is required, and an employee must agree to participate in a background screen and credit check.
