Sr. Manager, Mobile Device Products & Workplace Technology

Position Summary

 As the Sr. Manager of Mobile Device Products and Workplace Technology, you will build a best-in-class team to accelerate end-user device product innovation and speed of delivery at scale for our workforce. You will also be an important contributor to our overall mobile products and Workplace Technology strategy, improving our product operating model and attracting and developing digital mobile engineering talent across IT. As an IT leader, you will work closely with peers to align a vision for Mobile Devices and Workplace Technology services across Vista's internal business functions, with a focus on delivering leading capabilities at the enterprise level. You will be an expert and thought leader in Mobile Devices, Workplace Technology, and desktop engineering and can design and implement secure, performant, and scalable product solutions to meet our business's evolving needs. 

 

This is a Remote role and is for an immediate start.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic vision for all facets of the product lifecycle, including product road mapping, executive debriefs and portfolio management with a flexible development delivery model.
• Influence the landscape of existing and emerging mobile iOS technology to provide the optimal customer experience when interacting with archive platforms that increase engineering efficiency and drive digital product optimization
• Manage, impact, and influence, direct & indirect staff (i.e. a matrixed mobile & windows desktop engineering cohort, solutions architecture staff, etc.) under a people, process, and tools engineering operating model
• Leverage mobile and device engineering/architecture principles and problem-solving skills to diagnose and remedy systems, including connectivity across the stack
• Serve as a technical leader and mentor to the growing product team, driving product management, device security configuration, program metrics, automation, as well as L2 to L3 product operations
• Drive firm digitization with 100% compliance for backend reporting systems (archive) under agile methodologies with an emphasis on Mobile Architecture standards, solution deployment architecture, and device reporting automation

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of IT engineering leadership experience at a Financial Firm with regulatory environments, influencing key stakeholders and working effectively with cross-functional teams 
• Expertise building out Mobile Engineering Product Teams, Workplace technology architecture capabilities (culture, impact and influence) to drive product  
• Deep expertise in iOS and windows deployment including hardware & configuration
• Demonstrated focus on security and UX, prioritizing the end user experience with IT Portfolio Product Management reporting, driving metrics/outcomes, and service delivery 
• Ability to work in fast pace and high-growth environment while managing multiple concurrent projects and deadlines
• Must possess personal tact, discretion and good judgment. along with excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

 

The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $150,000-$215,000. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other reward may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
