Mobile Device Developer

This role will play a crucial part in developing iOS and/or Android mobile applications that support our products, customers, and partners.

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate is a seasoned Mobile Developer with a passion for software development, mobile apps, and improving the end-user experience. This role involves a mix of new development and contributions to existing applications, requiring a solid understanding of mobile app ecosystems and the ability to deliver high-quality, user-centered solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
• Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of existing apps written in Swift, Kotlin, Qt, or Java.
• Ensure seamless integration with back-end data sources and web services.
• Focus on delivering exceptional mobile user experiences, exceeding customer expectations.
• Improve code quality through unit testing, automation, and code reviews.
• Engage in brainstorming sessions, contributing innovative ideas to our technology and products.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate end-user requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mobile app store ecosystems and compliance requirements.
• Tackle complex problems with a strategic approach to achieve timely and effective solutions.

Technical Requirements:

• Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Swift.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented programming principles.
• Experience with Web/REST APIs for backend integration.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Familiarity with JSON/XML/HTML/CSS/Javascript.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Gitlab.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python.
• Exposure to Cloud and IoT technologies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in mobile app development, with a portfolio of released applications on the Android and/or iOS market.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
