SAIC is seeking a Mobile Device Support Specialist at MacDill AFB, FL!
Serves as Mobile Device Support Specialist in classified and unclassified networks and systems. The Mobile Device Support Specialist must be detail-oriented and have in-depth knowledge of mobile networks, hardware, and software. This position provides 24x7 computer technical support to maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and restore mobile computer and information systems to an operational status, to include personal computers, thin/zero clients, laptops, and peripherals. The goal is to ensure data, voice, video, and communication requirements are correctly provisioned and operational to support assured communication between warfighters and Senior Defense Officials. Operational requirements dictate 24x7 manning, position requires shift work to include working nights and weekends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, a Mathematics-intensive discipline, or a similar field and 5+ years of experience, OR Master's degree and 3+ years of experience. Significant relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
- All candidates must have obtained DoDD 8570.01-M IAT II.
- Experience supporting customers' needs in large, medium, and small-scale operational environments and use all available resources.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and customers.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills in making the appropriate technical decisions.
- Must be motivated, adaptable, flexible, and able to produce quality results in an evolving, fast-paced environment.
- Experience providing user familiarization and guidance for client designated enterprise Mobile Device functions and develop TTPs, SOPs, End User Guides, and FAQ pages.
- Ability to manage cellular lines of service to include but not limited to: Correct charge for service plan, adding/removing lines of service and adjusting global plans, as needed.
- Troubleshoot wireless carrier network services such as voice, data, Short Message Service (SMS), Multimedia Messaging Services (MMS), data tethering, mobile hot spot, management of carrier mobile telephone numbers between devices, etc.
- Process and manage replacement devices (bench stock) between vendor and end users, as required.
- Demonstrate ability to provide technical support, troubleshooting, monitoring, and maintaining equipment relative to the Agency's designated MDM, Active Directory, designated enterprise messaging system, various Mobile Device hardware, and Mobile Device operating systems.
- Provision, update, and troubleshoot Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) kits, classified laptops, and unclassified commercial Mobile Devices (iPhone/Apple iOS, Android OS and other technologies).
- Certificate management for Mobile Devices.
- Build and maintain “colorless” routers by creating, deploying, and maintaining infrastructure as code process for onboarding and offboarding applications within the multi-cloud environment.
- Be familiar with Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) for Mobile Devices
