6 Months Contract
Overview:
- Support clients utilizing systems, focusing on rugged tablets and laptops used in field environments with LAN, WiFi, and cellular connectivity.
- Responsibilities include hardware/software setup and support, network and cellular configuration, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and timely solutions to end-user problems with rugged tablets/laptops and networking under direct supervision.
- Perform restorative and maintenance actions remotely or on-site using basic troubleshooting skills.
- Maintain accurate information in the tracking system.
- Communicate effectively with clients and management.
- Perform other assigned tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Basic hands-on experience in technical support, including desktop PC support.
- Competency in troubleshooting desktop device conflicts, connectivity, and application issues in a Windows OS.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- A+ Certification preferred.
