Description of Role:
Our client would like to hire a Bookkeeper to take care of all our company day to day financial tasks. You will be responsible for both accounts payable and receivable along with all payroll and bank account management and reconciliation tasks. To do well in this role you should have previous experience as a Bookkeeper and have used QuickBooks.
Tasks:
- Maintain the firm’s accounting records
- Prepare accurate journal entries for the company
- Produce monthly financial statements by the 20th of each month
- Assist current staff with billing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Work with company's outside accounting firm on year-end financial statements and tax filings
- Help the firm improve the efficiency of their accounting processes and software.
Skills and Requirements:
- 3-5 years’ experience in Full Charge bookkeeping, preferably with a professional services firm.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks payroll, and QuickBooks timekeeping software.
- Highly proficient Excel skills. An assessment will be required.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting a plus.
Work Schedule:
Monday thru Friday 8am-5pm
