Sr. Application Developer (Business Automation)

UMB Bank NA seeks a Senior Application Developer/Application Developer III for Kansas City, MO, with an option to telecommute, work from anywhere within US.
Our Business Automation team provides support of multiple automated solutions. This particular role focuses on our Digital Account Opening (DAO) applications which are critical to the bank for attracting and enrolling new customers into our various banking products. This team is a collection of well-rounded developers supporting and maintaining the DAO environment to enhance the applications and ensure high performance while avoiding any business disruptions.
As a Sr. Application Developer, you will be involved in enhancements and support of multiple Digital Account Opening related applications. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and our technical teams to gather requirements and ensure solutions are being met. How you'll spend your time:
The Senior Application Developer/Application Developer III will be responsible for providing technical solutions for Digital Account Opening applications through configuring, building customizations and integrations of specific tasks. Provide support for Digital Account Opening applications, handle daily issues reported by customers and business partners. Keep current with financial services industry trends and emerging Management Information Systems (MIS) technology. Scope, estimate, design, configure, analyze, maintain, troubleshoot, and test technical and non-technical solutions required to satisfy clients' needs. Perform development tasks which will involve extraction and transfer of data performing all associated transformations, validations, cleansing, and preparation of data for load into applicable systems. Work on elements of large, complex installations. Develop and implement process improvements, be a resource and advocate for the business partners and work closely with the system administrators and database administrators to perform space planning, monitoring, security, performance tuning, archiving, and upgrade support. Work closely with user and management to maintain and continually improve the operations, maintenance, and documentation of the systems. Make recommendations to users and management regarding system expansions, alternative approaches, enhancements and operational improvements. Advocate for change and assist in the alignment of team initiatives to Management Information Systems (MIS) strategic goals and priorities. Develop long term strategic road map for the technology area. Perform additional Application Developer duties, as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
Seven years' progressive experience which must include experience in the following, concurrently:

• A technical role supporting or designing application technologies;
• distributed client server environments, relational database technology, and the development or configuration of interface software;
• project management (formal or informal);
• 5 years development experience;
• experience writing Apex classes and triggers, and Lightning Web Components;
• understanding of and experience with Salesforce architecture and API;
• experience integrating Salesforce with other applications;
• experience with these or similar technologies: HTML, XML, SQL, and SOAP Web Services, Salesforce architecture and API.

Position also requires demonstrated knowledge of the following: Data Governance; Data Modeling; Data Quality; Master Data Management; Meta-data management concepts; application performance tuning, and Salesforce Lightning Design System and SFDX.

Compensation Range:
Minimum: $72,870.00 - Mid Point: $104,160.00 - Maximum: $135,450.00
