Job Summary

Sr. Analyst, Master Planner is responsible for driving the short-term planning horizon (1-3 months) on weekly rhythms. Master Planners have a critical role to analyze demand and stock levels to ensure there is enough product to cover sales including safety stock but also meet Inventory targets. The Material Planners have a critical role to drive profitability optimization by managing Inventory moves and turns on Americas region, as well maximizing the usage of logistics network. Ultimately, the position will provide all required information to support Business teams and local Sales team on strategic decision-taking discussions and short-term planning execution.

How You Can Be the Impact

• Act as voice of customer to manufacturing base.
• Analyze weekly planning results from APO-SNP and confirm appropriate order packages to manufacturing, balancing against known manufacturing constraints and the agreed monthly S&OP production plans.
• Communicate cross functionality on plant status, customer issues and inhibiting execution of master production schedule.
• Manage product line inventory levels to meet quarterly operation plan, balance sku level DIOH (inventory mix) to ensure desired resource levels are maintained. Prevent Inflow of aged finished goods in partnership with Demand Planners, Product Planners, and Fulfillment Analyst.
• Coordinate and lead planning for annual plant outages to ensure quantity of supply to customers.  This includes cross functional communication between manufacturing and supply planning to ensure the correct master data elements are in place for APO-SNP planning.
• Manage Made to Inventory (MTI) replenishment, and control inventory to meet quarterly DOH targets.
• Work closely with MPS planners and manufacturing to ensure the sequencing of orders achieves the proper service levels.

What Matters to SABIC

• BA/BS degree
• Minimum 3-5 years in scheduling, demand planning, and/or manufacturing/engineering experience
• Demonstrated ability to use analytical tools to solve business problems
• Proven ability to work with, and communicate to, all levels of the business
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Office programs
• ERP/Planning experience is required; SAP is highly desirable
• Experience in IBP, APO-SNP desired
