Partner with the best
To coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and also within departments) for After Market orders according to production schedules. Plan and schedule material/production needs.
As a Material Planner, you will be responsible for:
- Managing master planning, material processes and systems, preparing and updating production schedules according to customer needs. Plan order release to production orders.
- Ensuring operational alignment with production plan and KPIs to optimize inventory.
- Working with Sourcing to expedite material in order to meet customer timelines. Shortages management and reporting.
- Managing exchange data and information interaction, concerns and also improvements in products, processes and procedures.
- Handling standardized manufacturing processes including guidelines for choosing the right actions.
- Working hand-to-hand with the Master Scheduler and acts as the internal point of contact for assigned Channel Partners, supporting after-market orders.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have an Engineering Degree from an accredited university.
- Have a minimum of 6 years of experience in Materials Planning or Procurement, Logistics and /or Operations.
- Have the Ability to coordinate several multimillion-dollar orders simultaneously through effective problem identification and solution skills.
